Candlelight Inn & Suites Hwy 69 near McAlester

Clean and spacious rooms at a great price! Great place to stay on our way through. Older place but well maintained and kept up.

Stayed here while waiting to drop off RV at the base. There is plenty of parking and for those who have a trailers or RV. The owners are friendly, very helpful and we had no issues with our room. It was very spacious, nice comfy king bed, 50” TV, sofa, table, chair, mini fridge and microwave. The shower pressure was nice with constant hot water. Great quiet location.

This place is perfect for stopping in for the night on your way through town. The gentleman working the counter last night very incredibly friendly. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. My only room complaint was the AC wouldn’t work and it got almost unbearably hot.. only hotel complaint would be the breakfast is pretty much all serious junk food and not very presentable. But if you are just here for somewhere to sleep, it’s perfect.

Very nice for the age of the place. Clean and well kept. Staff does their job minus the bath towels, lol. We had to use hand towels after shower but obviously could have gotten them if asked for. Not a big deal. We were in and out doing a drive thru. Don’t expect the Ritz and you will be just fine.

My wife and I just wanted a quick getaway with a limited budget. This place did not disappoint! It’s quaint and clean and the morning sunrise over a little body of water to the east was very nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great place for the value!!

We stay at this hotel every time we come to town for work. They have reasonable rates and the property allows our dogs. We usually get the same room which we like since we can keep an eye on our truck and it makes it easier to load and off load our stuff. They also have some truck parking which is also a big plus for us. The property has a large back area with a nice view. Hotel is close enough to town when we need anything. The staff is friendly and we can tell its a priority to make sure the rooms are clean. They offer a continental breakfast so that's also a plus.

Great hotel at a fair price. Safe, clean place for my daughter and dogs and I to rest on a cross country journey. Will probably always stay here when visiting family or driving through.

Great little hotel!! After seeing this hotel had the best reviews in the entire area for a great price, we were happy to see it lived up to the reviews! We arrived very late at night and thankfully the gentleman working was great and got us checked in quickly. The doors are locked at night for security which was great! It is conveniently located right off the highway but is NOT noisy. Our room and bathroom were very clean!! The beds were just ok BUT if you’re looking for a safe clean place to rest your head for a great price look no further! They do offer complimentary breakfast which I recommend going to earlier rather than later as it was cleaned up and put away about 15 minutes before ending time. But it’s complimentary so I can’t hold that against them! We would stay here again if in the area!
